[Research in Paris] Programmes between January and June 2024 ; or July and December 2024

APPLY FOR "RESEARCH IN PARIS" GRANT

Whether you wish to develop or finalise a project, or need a place to meet and work in a stress-free environment, the Institut Henri Poincaré welcomes you, providing facilities and, if need be, financial support.

WARNING : Selection for "Research in Paris" programmes happens twice a year. Deadlines to submit application are October 15th, for programmes between July and December N+1 and, May 15th, for programmes between January and June N+1

How to apply

The proposal, which should not exceed two pages, should state:

• the scientific motivation of the research project,
• the names of the participants and their institutions of affiliation,
• the desired period, for a maximum duration of 6 weeks (please be aware that the Institute is usually closed in August),
• the motivation for being hosted at the Institut Henri Poincaré,

Scientific projets with a significant involvement of French scientists will be prioritized.

Selection process and important dates

Proposals can be submitted at any time in the year. Decisions are made at the twice-yearly meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) in June and November. The SAB will then make recommendations, and you will receive notification of the outcome from the Direction of IHP.
 

For "Research in Paris" programmes, IHP will take charge of your accommodation.
