You would like to organise a conference at the Institut Henri Poincaré

 Your research activity is focused on a topical subject.

The Institut Henri Poincaré can offer financial support and/or different kinds of space to welcome your conference.

WARNING : Selection for Conferences happens twice a year. Deadlines to submit application are May 15th for conference between January and June N+1, and October 15th for confernce between July and December N+1.

How to apply - Required conditions

The proposed project will not exceed four pages, stating:

• The scientific title
• The dates of the conference
• The names of the organisers, their email addresses and institutions of affiliation
• The abstract of the conference
• The planning of the conference
• The preliminary list of speakers
• The scientific motivation
• Estimated number of participants
• An estimate of the overall budget

Selection process and important dates

Decisions are made at the twice-yearly meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) in June and November. The SAB will then make recommendations, and you will receive notification of the outcome from the Direction.

Votre activité de recherche porte sur un sujet d'actualité.

L'Institut Henri Poincaré peut vous proposer un soutien financier et/ou différents types d'espaces pour accueillir votre conférence.

ATTENTION : La sélection pour une conférence a lieu deux fois par an. Les dates limites de dépôt des candidatures sont le 15 mai pour une conférence entre janvier et juin N+1, et le 15 octobre pour une conférence entre juillet et décembre N+1.

Comment postuler

Les candidats sont invités à déposer une proposition de conférence (4 pages maximum) incluant :

• Le titre scientifique
• Les dates de la conférence
• Les noms des organisateurs, leurs adresses courriels et leurs affiliations
• Un résumé de la conférence
• Le planning de la conférence
• La liste préliminaires des orateurs
• Les critères scientifiquement motivés étayant le projet
• Estimation du nombre des participants
• Un budget prévisionnel

Processus de sélection et calendrier

Les projets déposés en ligne sont examinés et validés lors des réunions du Comité de Progammation Scientifique (CPS) prévues en juin et en novembre.
Après avis du CPS, une réponse de la direction de l’IHP vous sera communiquée.
