Workshop "Curved spacetimes, field theory and beyond"

April 8th to 12th, 2024 - IHP, Paris

The workshop is part of the IHP program "Classical and quantum fields interacting with geometry" focused on the application of recent mathematical developments to the description of phenomena emerging from the intertwining of classical and quantum physics, with a particular emphasis on the field theoretical regime in the presence of gravity. Its overall objective is to highlight fundamental connections between different fields of physics and mathematics that have the potential to lead to breakthroughs in our understanding of spacetime, quantum fields and the quantum nature of gravity.
