PROPOSE A DOCTORAL PROGRAM / COURS DOCTORAUX, DÉPOSER UN PROJET

In opening the Institut Henri Poincaré to Graduate Schools, our Institute provides both logistical and financial support for, in particular, PhD students wishing to attend these courses. More details.

WARNING : Selection for Doctoral training happens twice a year. Deadlines to submit application are May 15th for programs between January and June, and october 15th for programs between July and December.

How to apply - Required conditions

The proposed program will not exceed four pages, stating:

• The names of the organizers and their institutions of affiliation.
• An abstract of the doctoral program.
• The scientific motivation.
• The number of sessions planned.
• The pre-requisites for the participants.
• An estimate of the overall budget.

The pre-project can be submitted downhere (.pdf). You can also submit these proposals via any member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the IHP.
After discussion within the Scientific Advisory Board, the Direction will let you know its decision.

Selection process and important dates

You can submit proposals at any time of the year.
Decisions are made at the twice-yearly meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) in June and December. The SAB will then make recommendations, and you will receive notification of the outcome from the Direction.

Vous avez une idée de cours doctoral ? Votre activité de recherche porte sur un sujet d'actualité ? L'Institut Henri Poincaré vous ouvre ses portes et apporte un soutien logistique adapté ainsi qu'une aide financière.

ATTENTION : le dépôt des projets de cours doctoraux doit être effectué au plus tard le 15 mai pour les cours entre janvier et juin de l'année N+1, et au plus tard le 15 octobre pour les cours entre juillet et décembre de l'année N+1.

Comment postuler

Les candidats sont invités à déposer une proposition de programme (4 pages maximum) incluant :

• Les noms des organisateurs et leurs établissements de rattachement
• Un résumé du programme doctoral avec le nom des intervenants
• Les critères scientifiquement motivés étayant le projet
• Le nombre de séances envisagé
• Les pré-requis pour le public
• Un budget prévisionnel

Processus de sélection et calendrier

La campagne de soumission est ouverte toute l'année. Les projets déposés en ligne sont examinés et validés lors des réunions du Comité de Programmation Scientifique prévues en juin et en décembre.
