Rooms & services

The institute has four amphitheatres, six classrooms and two meeting rooms. All rooms are equipped with chalkboards, audiovisual means and a Wi-Fi network. They are open for booking Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm, and subject to special authorisation in the evenings and on Saturdays. A video recording service is also available for the amphitheatres.

Hosting any event has an operating cost for the institute, which must also regularly schedule maintenance and renovation operations for the spaces and equipment made available.

The rates include the provision of pre-installed spaces, furniture and equipment, additional furniture and equipment on request and only according to availability, technical infrastructure and equipment, technical and logistical staff, as well as the cleaning of spaces and common areas, and security if necessary.

The applicable rates are specified in the Sorbonne Université rates decision, which can be downloaded here. The illustrated inserts below are currently being modified.

The IHP management may grant a 50% discount, or even exceptionally free admission, to events whose topics fall within the institute's research domains (mathematics, theoretical physics and their interactions).
