Opening hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Closed on Wednesday, Sunday, and public holidays.
2026 Summer break: from Monday 27 July to Saturday 22 August. Reopening on Monday 24 August.
2026 Winter break: from Monday 21 December 2026 to Saturday 2 January 2027. Reopening on Monday 4 January 2027.
Tickets are often sold out well ahead of time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The museum's capacity being limited for security reasons, people who have not booked their tickets are not guaranteed entry.
During peak periods (Saturdays and school holidays), we invite you to book in advance online your tickets for the museum and its events.
Tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
Please note: last entry 45 minutes before closing.
The online ticketing is open 24 hours a day.

Free entrance upon presentation of valid proof displaying name and photograph, or accompanied by an identity document.*
* -18 years old, purchase of a ticket on the same day for a workshop, a tea time or "Chez Henri" event, beneficiaries of minimum social benefits and job seekers, disabled people and accompanying person, holder of an “Education Pass” card, parliamentarians, staff of the ministries in charge of Higher Education and Research, National Education, Culture, the Île-de-France Region, the City of Paris, Sorbonne Université, the CNRS, the Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP) and learned societies hosted at IHP, guides and lecturers from the Ministries of Culture and Tourism, members of the Circle of Partners of the IHP Endowment fund, members of the AMCSTI, visual artists affiliated with the Maison des artistes, journalists holding a national or international press card.
