Close to the Panthéon and the Jardin du Luxembourg, the IHP is ideally located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement of Paris. Its museum, the Maison Poincaré, is on the same site, but has different opening hours.

The institute

• Open from 8:30am to 6pm from Monday to Friday.

• Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

• 2026 Summer break: coming soon.

• 2026 Winter break: coming soon.

The museum - Maison Poincaré

• Open from 9:30am to 5:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. From 10am to 6pm on Saturdays.

• Closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
