Whether you wish to develop or finalise a project, or need a place to meet and work in a stress-free environment, the Institut Henri Poincaré welcomes you, providing facilities and, if need be, financial support.

WARNING : Selection for "Research in Paris" programmes happens twice a year. Deadlines to submit application are October 20th, for programmes between July and December N+1 and, May 15th, for programmes between January and June N+1

How to apply

The proposal, which should not exceed two pages, should state:

• the scientific motivation of the research project,
• the names of the participants and their institutions of affiliation,
• the desired period, for a maximum duration of 6 weeks (please be aware that the Institute is usually closed in the summer from July 20 to August 27),
• the motivation for being hosted at the Institut Henri Poincaré,

Scientific projets with a significant involvement of French scientists will be prioritized.

Selection process and important dates

Proposals can be submitted at any time in the year. Decisions are made at the twice-yearly meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) in June and November. The SAB will then make recommendations, and you will receive notification of the outcome from the Direction of IHP.
 

For "Research in Paris" programmes, IHP will take charge of your accommodation.

Vous souhaitez développer ou finaliser un projet ? Vous cherchez un lieu où vous réunir et travailler en toute sérénité ? L'Institut Henri Poincaré vous accueille et vous fait bénéficier de facilités logistiques et, le cas échéant, d’un soutien financier.

ATTENTION : le dépôt des projets de programmes "Research In Paris" doit être effectué au plus tard le 15 mai de l'année N pour les programmes entre janvier et juin de l'année N+1, et au plus tard le 20 octobre de l'année N pour les programmes entre juillet et décembre de l'année N+1.

Comment postuler

Rédigez un dossier (de deux pages maximum) comprenant :

• Un projet de recherche dont les axes doivent être scientifiquement motivés,
• Les noms des participants et leur établissement de rattachement,
• La période souhaitée d'une durée de 6 semaines maximum (attention, l'institut est généralement fermé en été du 20 juillet au 27 août),
• Les raisons pour lesquelles l'Institut Henri Poincaré fournirait un cadre adéquat à votre projet,

Les projets présentant une implication significative de scientifiques de la communauté française seront privilégiés.

Processus de sélection et calendrier

La campagne de soumission est ouverte toute l'année. Les projets déposés en ligne sont examinés et validés lors des réunions du Comité de Progammation Scientifique (CPS) prévues en juin et en novembre.
Après avis du CPS, une réponse de la direction de l’IHP vous sera communiquée.

Pour les projets "Research in Paris", l'IHP propose la prise en charge de votre logement.
