Through numerous photos and original documents, discover his work on the algebraic solution of equations, as well as their repercussions.

Introduction

This exhibition retraces the key moments in the short life of the 19th century mathematician Évariste Galois, replacing them in a turbulent historical context. Beyond the figure of the genius, this exhibition reminds us of the circumstances of Galois' life and the capacity of his work to mobilise mathematicians and historians for so long.

All the panels can be stored in a normal car.
