Original title: "La Maison des Mathématiques"
Introduction
Vessels of an age-old discipline, their numbers are growing along with their importance in our world... But who are they, how do they work and what are their days like?
Through the pictures of photographer Vincent Moncorgé, discover these mathematicians and visit the House of Mathematics: the Institut Henri Poincaré. A historic place for scientific meetings and interactions, the institute welcomes thousands of researchers - mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists - from all over the world every year.
Discover the singular portrait of a community that lives by intellectual rigour, shared inspirations, aesthetic questioning, and the pleasure of challenging the mysteries of the unknown.
