Original title: "Henri Poincaré - Du mathématicien au philosophe"
This exhibition presents the life of Henri Poincaré, a 19th century mathematician, physicist, philosopher and engineer.
Introduction
Illustrated with numerous rare documents such as correspondence, official documents and photographs, it introduces you to this often overlooked figure, who is nevertheless considered one of the last great universal scientists.
The exhibition chooses to interweave the different perspectives, to underline the importance of family and academic networks, and to place the existence of the French scientist in a historical context marked, among other things, by Franco-German rivalry.
